Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 until Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet town located on the West Island, which is part of Montreal's Island. It is the West Island, to those who have never heard of it, is a vast section that extends from Lachine all the way west. There is an argument that it was the birthplace of Amanda Brugel but while that is true, the time she spent in the city was brief. Brugel began her life in Courtice close to Oshawa. She was determined to become an elite dancer, however due to her rapid growth spurt she outgrew all of her dance colleagues. In an article published by Toronto Star, she revealed her height in heels as 6 foot 1 inch tall. As soon as I was able to outgrow male friends, I stopped. The former dancers usually turn into acting and Brugel wasn't an exception. Drama teacher in her high school was able to push Bruce in the direction she needed. It was suggested that she take part in her school's production. After a few auditions the role, she was chosen as the lead actress on stage in Anne of Green Gables. For the last twenty years the career of Brugel has seen her in more than 60 movies and TV productions. The most well-known role was as Rita (shown below) in the television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian on the season 1 Cast of the show and seen only occasionally, was the sole Canadian.
